CHRISTOPHER, Ill. (WJPF) – A juvenile is facing multiple charges after a shooting in Christopher.
The shooting happened in the early morning of January 30 on South Church Street. One male was shot in the arm and torso and flown to a hospital in St. Louis. He is expected to recover.
The suspect was identified as a 17 year old male.
He was arrested and faces charges of Attempted Murder, Reckless Discharge of a Firearm, Reckless Conduct, Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon, and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. He was taken to a juvenile detention center in Missouri.
