(WJPF) – Over 250 National Guard members are set to deploy to the Middle East in support of Operation Spartan Shield. Mobilization ceremonies will be held at three area schools on February 8 and 9.
John A. Logan College in Carterville will host a deployment ceremony at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, February 8, in Brewer Gymnasium.
Summersville Grade School in Jefferson County will host a deployment ceremony at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, February 8.
Frankfort Community High School in West Frankfort will host a deployment ceremony at 9 a.m. Sunday, February 9.
