The Fairfield Mules had multiple reasons to celebrate on Friday night. The Mules defeated Edwards County 54-48 in a Black Diamond – East conference match up to improve to 16-12 on the season and 7-1 in the conference, good enough for 1st in the standings. The win also marked head coach Scott McElravy’s 350th career victory.

The Mules have been led by McElravy since the 2005-06 season. He has spent his entire career with Fairfield and put together a career record of 350-250 together.
