Two arrested for buying, selling meth at Marion hotel

MARION, Ill. (WJPF) – Two people were arrested after they were caught buying and selling methamphetamine just feet away from uniformed police officers.

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were at the Econolodge in Marion on Thursday on an unrelated matter. While in the stairwell, they saw and heard Gregory Wellmaker buy a bag of meth from Reva Warnsman and haggle over terms of the deal.

Both were arrested at the hotel on felony narcotics charges. Warnsman also had heroin in her possession, according to police.
