CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) – A man has been arrested for aggravated battery in connection to an incident that happened late Monday night on North Washington Street in Carbondale.
Carbondale Police say Tyrique Williams, 24, beat the victim so hard that they were found lying in the street unconscious. They were treated at a local hospital and are expected to survive.
Williams was arrested after a short foot chase.
