CARBONDALE, Ill. – Southern Illinois baseball head coach Lance Rhodes announced a change to his squad’s series opener with Morehead State on Friday.
The two teams will now play in Marion at Mtn Dew Mark – home of the Thrillville Thrillbillies – at 3 p.m. due to expected weather and heavy winds.
Gates will open one hour prior to game time. All admissions will be $10 and concessions will be available at the park.
The final two games of the series will not change, as SIU and Morehead will play Saturday at 2 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. at Itchy Jones Stadium.
