The Salem Wildcats are joining the River to River Conference beginning in the 2026-27 school year. The school board voted to accept an invitation from the conference on Thursday night.
According to the conference, Salem will join the Ohio Division alongside the likes of Herrin, Carterville, Murphysboro, Massac County, and Harrisburg.
Salem is leaving the Cahokia Conference to join the SIRR Ohio.
