Carterville native and John A. Logan College point guard Caden Hawkins received another four-year college offer on Tuesday. Southern Indiana is the latest school to offer Hawkins.
This past season, Hawkins averaged 7.9 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 4.1 assists. He averaged 46.7% from the field and 42.0% from beyond the three-point line – the 36th best percentage in NJCAA Division I basketball. He also shot 87.0% from the free throw line – the 8th best percentage in the nation.
Hawkins was viewed as a top JUCO prospect following his freshman season, receiving an invite to the All-American JUCO Showcase last July.
Hawkins has also received offers from Western Illinois, Eastern Illinois, and UIndy.
