(WJPF) – Southwestern Illinois appears to have received the most damage from the most recent round of severe weather.
The national weather service office in Paducah reports that a tornado likely touched down near Olive Branch in Alexander County.
In Pulaski County, Century Schools will be closed Monday to assess damage to the building and roof.
Throughout the region, hail was reported. The DuQuoin area saw some of the biggest with golfball sized hailstones.
No injuries or deaths have been reported from Sunday’s severe weather.
