CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) — SIU alum and benefactor Ralph Becker has passed away.
Becker graduated with a communications degree in 1955 and went on to own and invest in several television stations across the country.
In May 2018, the boathouse on campus lake was renovated and renamed in Becker’s Honor.
