(WJPF) — Multiple new cases of COVID-19 were reported in southern Illinois Monday.
Jackson County
Two new cases of COVID-19 and the death of a previously identified case of COVID-19 were reported in Jackson County Monday.
- A female in her twenties is isolated and doing well
- A male in his fifties is isolated and doing well
The death, a male is his eighties, is the fourth COVID-19 related death in Jackson County. To date, there have been thirty-six total laboratory confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Jackson County. Ten of the positive cases have been released from isolation.
Jefferson County
Two new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Jefferson County Monday.
- A female in her twenties is isolating at home
- A female in her thirties is isolating at home
To date, there have been nine confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in Jefferson County, including one death.
Johnson County
One new case of COVID-19 was reported in Johnson County Monday.
- A male in his twenties is currently in isolation
To date, there has been one confirmed case of COVID-19 in Johnson County.
Randolph County
One new case of COVID-19 was reported in Randolph County Monday.
Randolph County health officials have not released the age, gender, or condition of any positive COVID-19 cases.
To date, forty-one cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Randolph County. Twenty-seven cases have recovered and have been released from isolation.
