Pritzker to testify before Congress on COVID-19 response

CHICAGO, Ill. (WJPF) — Governor JB Pritzker is scheduled to testify Wednesday before members of the US Congress.

Pritzker will testify virtually at 11:00 a.m. before the House Committee on Homeland Security on ‘Examining the National Response to the Worsening Coronavirus Pandemic.’

Also scheduled to testify Wednesday: Jason Shelton, the mayor, Tupelo, Mississippi; Umair A. Shah, M.D., M.P.H., theExecutive Director and Local Health Authority of Harris County, Texas; Col. (ret.) Brian Hastings, Director of the Alabama Emergency Management Agency.
