CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) — A Carbondale woman has been arrested for the theft of multiple automobiles.
33-year-old Bridgette Hart has been charged with Possession of Stolen Vehicle, Driving with a Suspended License, and two counts of Motor Vehicle Theft.
According to Carbondale Police, the thefts happened in various locations over the past two weeks.
Hart was found during a traffic stop in one of the stolen vehicles.
All of the vehicles involved were recovered and returned to their owners.
Hart also faces a charge for Criminal Trespass to Property in connection to a separate incident in the 300 block of West Elm Street.
Hart was taken to the Jackson County Jail.
