SIU Softball adds Thursday game at St. Louis

The Southern Illinois University softball team has added a single game at Saint Louis University on Thursday, April 22. First pitch is set for 3 p.m.

All-time vs. St. Louis


  • Thursday’s meeting will mark the 53rd meeting between St. Louis and Southern Illinois University.
  • SIU holds a commanding 48-4 lead in the all-time series.
  • Southern has won four-straight and five of its last six meetings against Saint Louis.
  • The Salukis won 24-straight games against the Billikens from 1992-2002.
  • Southern shut out SLU, 6-0 in St. Louis on April 3, 2019 and outscored the Billikens, 16-0 in its two wins in 2019.
  • The Billikens last win in the series came during the 2015 season.
