CHRISTOPHER, Ill. (WJPF) — A Chester man has been arrested in connection to a stabbing Tuesday in Christopher.
Police were called to the scene in the 300 block of West Ray Avenue at about 2:15 a.m. They say Zachary Zepada, 20, had fled the scene by the time officers arrived. He was arrested a short time later.
The victim was airlifted to a regional hospital.
