ELDORADO, Ill. (WJPF) — Funeral services will be held Monday for Heath Toothman, the 17-year-old Eldorado High School senior killed last Thursday in an accident during the high school’s homecoming parade.
School officials say Toothman lost his balance while jumping off of a parade float and hit his head. He was flown to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, where he died from his injuries.
Visitation will be held at the Star General Baptist Church in Eldorado from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow immediately after, also at the church. Toothman will be buried at Hickory Hill Cemetery in Broughton.
