BUTLER COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) — A small earthquake was felt Tuesday in southeast Missouri.
The 4.0 magnitude quake was recorded at 8:53 p.m. near the Butler County town of Williamsville.
Shaking could be felt in Cape Girardeau. Some reported pictures being shaken off walls. No damage was reported.
