MARION, Ill. (WJPF) – We now know who will replace Brandon Zanotti as Williamson County State’s Attorney.
Marcy Cascio-Hale will take over the office on Monday and in doing so will become the first female state’s attorney in county history.
Cascio-Hale’s most recent job was as a research attorney for the Fifth District Appellate Court. If she wants the state’s attorney’s job for more than a few months, Cascio-Hale will have win in a special election in November.
