CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) – A Carbondale man was flown to a St. Louis hospital after he was hit by a school bus.
It happened around 9:35 a.m. Wednesday on Giant City Road, south of Carbondale, near Castle Park.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says James Craft, 52, walked into the street and into the path of an oncoming Vienna School Bus, which was taking students to an event at SIU.
Craft suffered serious injuries. No one on the bus was hurt.
