Marion woman jailed after kicking, headbutting sheriff’s deputy

MARION, Ill. (WJPF) – A Marion woman faces charges including aggravated battery to a peace officer after she headbutted and kicked a Williamson County Sheriff’s Deputy.

According to Williamson County Sheriff Jeff Diederich, a deputy pulled over Alicia Klisnick Saturday on North Market Street in Marion for a traffic violation and Kliskick soon became argumentative. Her vehicle was searched; illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia were found.

Alicia Klisnick was then placed in handcuffs. While she was being taken to the back seat of a squad car, Klisnick began to fight, refusing to be placed in the vehicle.

When Klisnick was eventually placed into the back seat of the squad car, she kicked the rear windows of the vehicle and when a deputy re-opened the squad car door, Klisnick headbutted the deputy and kicked him in the groin.

Klisnick was taken to the Williamson County Jail on charges of suspended vehicle registration, illegal possession of adult use cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, and aggravated battery to a peace officer.
