The woman who crashed into a school in Marion has been issued several citations.

20 year old Tiffany Meller of Marion crashed her vehicle into Jefferson School Thursday May 4th a little after 11:00pm. When officers arrived they found Meller had crashed into the southside of the school and was sitting inside the library. No one was inside the school at the time of the crash.

Meller has been issued several citations including Underage Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor, Zero Tolerance, Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident, Disregard a Traffic Control Device, No Valid License, and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.

Meller was taken to Heartland Regional Medical Center for treatment and her condition is unknown at this time.

The incident is under investigation.
