CARBONDALE, Ill. – Southern Illinois senior outfielder Pier-Olivier Boucher earned a spot on the ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Midwest All-Region Team, the American Baseball Coaches Association announced Tuesday (June 13).

Boucher, a Saint-Joseph-de-Bauce, Quebec native, is coming off a memorable season for the Salukis where he started all 57 games. He led SIU with a .335 batting average, 46 runs scored, 19 stolen bases while putting together a .619 slugging percentage. He finished second on the team with 16 home runs and 43 RBIs.

Boucher finished the season tied for fourth in program history in single-season homers with 16. He along with Steven Loden formed the best home run duo in program history with 34 combined long balls.
