MT. VERNON, Ill. (WJPF) – A Mt. Vernon man has been arrested on child pornography charges.
James Hembree, 36, was arrested Monday at his home on Harris Street, five days after investigators received a cybertip through the Internet Crime Against Children Task Force. During a search of his home police also found methamphetamine.
James Hembree was taken to the Jefferson County Jail on five counts of dissemination of child pornography as well as illegal drug charges.
