MOUNDS, Ill. (WJPF) – A Mound City woman is facing a pair of felony charges in connection to a shooting last week in Pulaski County.
Illinois State Police say a 25-year-old woman was hit by gunfire around 9:40 p.m. Friday, July 7, on South Reader Avenue in Mounds. She was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A short time later, Amari Acree, 26, was arrested and taken to jail on charges of reckless discharge of a firearm and aggravated discharge of a firearm. Her bond was set at $25,000.
