MT. VERNON, Ill. (WJPF) – An 18-year-old has been arrested following a knife fight in Mt. Vernon.
Early Saturday morning, Mt. Vernon Police were sent to the intersection of North 11th and George Street for a fight in progress. By the time officers arrived, the fighting had already stopped and two people were applying first aid to their stab wounds.
Bobby Berner, 18, of Mt. Vernon, was taken to jail on four counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
