CARBONDALE Ill. (WJPF) – A man has been arrested in Carbondale and faces multiple gun charges.
Carbondale police responded to the 1400 block of West Main street on the evening of Tuesday February 6, for a report of a man with a handgun.
Officer located the man and identified him as 34 year old Derrico Quinn of Memphis. Quinn complied when ordered to drop the firearm, and was taken into custody. The firearm was later found to have been reported stolen from Missouri.
Quinn was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, Possession of Stolen Firearm, and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.
He was taken to the Jackson County Jail.
