MURPHYSBORO, Ill. (WJPF) – A man was injured and two dogs killed in a Murphysboro house fire.
It happened Friday on the southwest side of town.
The Murphysboro Fire Department says the man received burn injuries and was treated at a local hospital. Multiple dogs were able to escape the burning home, but two perished.
The fire is under investigation.
