ST, LOUIS, Mo. – Edouard Cereto was named the Missouri Valley Conference Golfer of the Week, the conference announced Wednesday. He has earned the honor for the second week in a row. Cereto led the Salukis to their best finish of the spring semester, tying for second with 845 strokes, five behind tournament champion Wisconsin. He tied his season-lows in a 54-hole round score with 207 (-6), and a single-round score of 67. He leads the Salukis in average score per 18 holes with 71.69.
Cereto and the Salukis will compete in the Missouri Valley Conference Championships at The Club in Sunrise Beach, Mo. beginning on Sunday, April 21.
