MARION, Ill. (WJPF) – A Marion woman was assaulted inside of her home by an armed intruder.
It happened on August 23 at a home on Rolling Acres Drive. Marion Police released an official statement about the incident on August 28.
According to police, a man, armed with a knife, entered the home around 6:00 p.m. and battered a woman inside, resulting in minor injuries. The man ran from the scene and hasn’t been scene since.
