WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) – A Williamson County man is facing drug charges after being caught with cocaine during a traffic stop.
Eric Gottberg, 32, was pulled over by a Williamson County Sheriff’s Deputy on August 21 for speeding. He was also driving without a license.
Deputies found a plastic bag containing a white powder in Gottberg’s vehicle and that powder later tested positive for cocaine.
Eric Gottberg was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and released from jail. His next court appearance is scheduled for the September 18.
