CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) – A juvenile has been arrested for threatening fellow students and an administrator at Carbondale Middle School.
Carbondale Police say the juvenile was located before school started Wednesday, around 6:30 a.m., and made their first appearance in front of a judge later that same day.
The juvenile was charged with making a terroristic threat and disorderly conduct and then released with an electronic monitoring device. Police and prosecutors sought to detain the juvenile, but no detention centers had space available.
