SIU wide receiver Keontez Lewis is transferring to Oklahoma. Nearly three weeks ago, Lewis announced he was entering the transfer portal and on Wednesday, Lewis found his new home.
Lewis, who stands at 6’2, is the second receiver to transfer to Oklahoma this transfer cycle. He hauled in 49 catches for 813 yards and 5 touchdowns this season for the Salukis. He also rushed 10 times for 121 yards and another touchdown.
Lewis has one year of eligibility remaining.
Oklahoma went 6-6 this season and 2-6 in the SEC; the Sooners wrap up their season against Navy in the Armed Forces Bowl on December 27th. Oklahoma also landed the top transfer quarterback in the portal on Wednesday in Washington State’s John Mateer.
