MT. VERNON, Ill. (WJPF) – A domestic disturbance call ended with the discovery of a dead body and a Jefferson County man arrested for unlawfully concealing a death.
61-year-old Leslie Borah has been released from jail with orders to later appear in court.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office says police were called to the home on East Oakton Road Friday afternoon after shots were fired. Adam Borah, 33, was found on the property and pronounced deceased.
According to online court documents, in 2022 Leslie Borah filed an emergency order of protection with the court against Adam Borah.
Police say the investigation is still active.
