No foul play suspected in West City Walmart fire

WEST CITY, Ill. (WJPF) — Authorities say a heater placed too close to bags of charcoal started a small fire Saturday at the West City Walmart.

Firefighters were dispatched to the store at about 8:15 a.m. and found smoke billowing from the garden center. The store was evacuated, but incurred no major damage from the fire.

The West City Walmart was able to reopen a few hours later.
