3rd Annual Franklin County High school Art Show

The Benton High School will be hosting the third annual “Franklin County Highschool Art Show.” The show will be held on April 2nd with the doors opening at 6:00 PM, and an awards ceremony will begin at 7:00 PM in the Rich Herrin Gymnasium at the Benton High school located at

511 E. Main St, Benton, IL. 62812.

This regional show is the only one of its kind in Franklin County and was established in conjunction with other regional Art Educators, the Illinois Art Education Association, local area colleges, and with the support of local businesses and community members. The purpose of the show is to promote the arts and art education in the Southern Illinois Region, build collaborative relationships among educational intuitions, all while providing local students the opportunity to display their work and compete against their peers in neighboring communities.

This is the first time in two years that our area students have had the opportunity to participate in this and many other events. Therefore, we would like to invite you to come and be a part of this great event as we begin to get back to normal and celebrate all of these students’ hard work
