Pride in Action 5K Fun Run and Walk: Fundraiser for Southern Il PrideFest

Cost: $20; includes medal
Pride in Action, Southern Il hosts its first in-person 5K Fun Run and walk on Saturday, May 6th, beginning at the John A. Logan Aquatic Center in Carterville, Il. The purpose of this event is to raise funds for Southern Il PrideFest, 2023, June 9-11 in Carbondale. Supporters can also register to participate virtually.
Organizer Tim Kee states:
No, you don’t have to run! You can participate IN PERSON, or virtually. You’ll have fun even if you don’t think you will. All paid entries receive the custom designed medal, pictured on the sign-up page. It is not a timed race; it’s just to bring friends together to support the local LGBTQ+ community and Pride in Action, Southern Illinois. Run, walk, crawl, scooter, bike, or roll your way through the course or, if participating virtually, in your favorite space to do your thing!
